Snoutiq is owned and operated by Thinktail Global Pvt. Ltd. (“Thinktail,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using Snoutiq, you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Medical Disclaimer. If you do not agree with any part of this disclaimer, please discontinue use of Snoutiq immediately.

1. No Professional Vet-Patient Relationship

  1. Educational Information Only.
    • All veterinary-related content—such as articles, guides, dosage calculators, treatment overviews, nutritional advice, and videos—is provided for general informational purposes only.
    • This content is not intended to serve as a substitute for professional veterinary diagnosis, treatment, or advice.
  2. No Vet-Patient or Client Relationship.
    • Viewing or accessing medical content on Snoutiq does not create a veterinarian–patient (or provider–pet owner) relationship between you (or your pet) and Thinktail, its employees, or any third-party Providers (veterinarians, clinics) featured on the Platform.
    • Only a direct, real-time consultation (teleconsultation or in-person) with a licensed veterinarian establishes a professional relationship.

2. Limitations of Information

  1. Accuracy & Completeness Not Guaranteed.
    • While we strive to ensure that medical articles, dosage calculators, and other veterinary information on Snoutiq are accurate and up-to-date, we make no representations or warranties regarding their completeness, accuracy, reliability, or suitability for any particular purpose.
    • Veterinary knowledge and best practices evolve rapidly; content may become outdated.
  2. General vs. Specific Advice.
    • The information provided on Snoutiq is generalized and may not take into account your pet’s individual history, breed, age, weight, existing conditions, allergies, or environmental factors.
    • Relying solely on general content can lead to misdiagnosis or inappropriate treatment.

3. No Reliance on Online Content

  1. Consult a Licensed Veterinarian.
    • Always seek the advice of a licensed veterinarian before implementing any treatment, therapy, medication, or dietary change for your pet.
    • Never delay or disregard professional veterinary advice based on something you read on Snoutiq.
  2. Emergency Situations.
    • If your pet exhibits signs of a medical emergency (e.g., difficulty breathing, severe bleeding, seizures, unresponsiveness), please seek immediate medical attention from the nearest veterinary clinic or animal hospital.
    • Do not rely on the Platform for emergency triage or urgent care.

4. No Endorsement of Third-Party Content

  1. Third-Party Providers & Clinics.
    • Snoutiq may feature third-party veterinarians, clinics, and service providers. Inclusion of any Provider on the Platform does not constitute endorsement or guarantee of the Provider’s credentials, quality of service, or outcomes.
    • Always verify a Provider’s current license, certifications, and reviews before booking a consultation or service.
  2. External Links & References.
    • Snoutiq may contain links to external websites, articles, or resources. These links are provided for convenience only.
    • We have no control over—and assume no responsibility for—the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party website.

5. Limitation of Liability

  1. No Warranties.
    • SNOUTIQ AND THINKTAIL DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AS THEY RELATE TO VETERINARY INFORMATION.
    • SNOUTIQ DOES NOT WARRANT THAT ANY CONTENT WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.
  2. Excluded Damages.
    • TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEITHER THINKTAIL NOR ANY OF ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR LICENSORS SHALL BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES (INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, ANY VETERINARY CONTENT ON SNOUTIQ, EVEN IF THINKTAIL HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
  3. Aggregate Liability Cap.
    • THINKTAIL’S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY AND ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO MEDICAL CONTENT ON SNOUTIQ SHALL NOT EXCEED ₹10,000 (TEN THOUSAND INDIAN RUPEES) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO THINKTAIL IN THE SIX (6) MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM, WHICHEVER IS LOWER.

6. Professional Consultation Encouraged

  1. Scheduling a Consultation.
    • If you have questions about your pet’s health, behavior, nutrition, or treatment options, please book a live teleconsultation or in-person appointment with a licensed veterinarian through Snoutiq.
    • Consultations conducted via Snoutiq’s telemedicine feature occur over secure, encrypted channels.
  2. Disclosure in Consultations.
    • During a consultation, provide complete and accurate information about your pet (medical history, current medications, symptoms).
    • The veterinarian will use that information—along with a physical exam (if applicable) and any diagnostic tests—to formulate a personalized treatment plan.

7. Endorsements & Testimonials

  1. Informational Testimonials.
    • Any testimonials, reviews, or case studies appearing on Snoutiq—regarding treatments, products, or Providers—represent the experiences of individual pet owners and may not be typical.
    • Testimonials are not intended to guarantee that you will achieve the same or similar results.
  2. No Implicit Guarantees.
    • Snoutiq does not endorse or guarantee any specific health outcomes based on implementing medical advice or using medications described on the Platform.

8. Pet Owner Responsibility

  1. Informed Consent.
    • By using Snoutiq’s medical content or booking a consultation through the Platform, you acknowledge responsibility for decisions made about your pet’s care.
    • You agree to follow the veterinarian’s instructions, including dosing regimens, dietary recommendations, follow-up schedules, and any suggested diagnostics (e.g., blood tests, imaging).
  2. Monitoring & Follow-Up.
    • After any treatment plan is prescribed, monitor your pet closely for adverse reactions or changes in condition.
    • If symptoms persist or worsen, seek immediate veterinary attention, even if it means visiting an emergency clinic outside of Snoutiq’s services.
